Enquiries are welcome - contact ~ mail@busypictures.uk The pictures, above, show various scenes at home and abroad: (1) Is of the Hamoaze taken from Brunel’s Railway Bridge on an unusual day when it was open to some visitors. Devonsuire lies to the left, Cornwall to the right and distance. The River Lynher is seen disappearing in the far right ~ but flows into the River Tamar (called the Hamoaze at this point), which discharges past Devonport on the far left and then into the English Channel. (2) Is of the river at Tiverton. It was commissioned by someone who wanted to see the various obstacles in the river. (3) Is of the junction of the rivers Tavy and at ~ appropriately ~ Two Rivers. (4) Wistman’s Wood a small ~ and protected ~ very ancient ~ wood isolated on Dartmoor. (5) Port Quin, Cornwall, at low tide. At high tide the water covers all the green seaweed rocks. (6) BIgbury Sands on a summer’s day. As the tide comes in so the available beach shrinks and the hotel is cut off on its island - see the next picture, no.(7). (7) As before (no 6.) at near high tide. This is an early morning picture.
